What the Tariff Pause Means for Your Future Real Estate Plans
Hi ,
“Higher house prices”
“The market is going to crash”
“That same old story”
Everyone is talking about the tariffs.
But what does it actually mean for your home?
This is a 2-minute read that could make or break your next transaction… 👇
The U.S. and Canada have paused the 25% tariffs for now.
Your real estate plans could drastically change.
Don’t worry though, I’ve got bulletproof strategies for every market as I’ve sold 100% of the homes I’ve listed.
Here’s what you can expect…
If the tariffs are implemented
If tariffs are implemented, higher construction costs and new home prices could push resale values up, benefiting sellers. But this might make homes less affordable for buyers. To help, the Bank of Canada may lower interest rates to boost demand.

How to beat the market:
Sellers: The market is still solid and moving as expected. If tariffs come into play, uncertainty could affect the marketplace, but below are ways to still succeed in a potentially uncertain market.
Your neighbours: Analyze your competition and make sure you’re not helping sell their home, but using their homes to help sell yours if you want to sell faster.
Avoid stigmas: If time is on your side, you can price a little higher than normal, but longer days on the market can create a stigma in buyers’ eyes, making them think there’s something wrong with the house.
Buyers: With more buying power. Take advantage!
Updates: Stay updated with new listings on an INSTANT (live listing updates) basis.
Rare: The perfect homes only come up so often. If the seller prices it well and there are multiple buyers interested, it will be difficult to outbid the others without overpaying.
